Today was the day we had to go as a group to the doctors office. This location does only adoptions and there were 14 families total. A few of the kids had to get shots based on their age and some didn’t. There were some crying and some screaming. Sarah Grace didn’t have to do shots since she is under 2. She only had to do a general screening, which consisted of me telling them what she has done over the last couple of days and they wrote it on a piece of paper. They then listened to her breathing and heart; followed by checking her tummy and her back out. She then had to go to the next station which was where she got weighed and her temperature taken. She has gained about 2lbs since we have had her.
The last stop for her was the ENT station. This was where they checked her hearing, thought, and eyes. Not sure if they even did anything with her nose. After these 3 short stops, she was said to be ok. I know she is, but this was as simple of a check up as you could ever imagine. Next stop for the doctor is when we get home and see her pediatrician. Anyway, she was great. Not a sound from her. She was content the entire time. After a nice long nap, we went outside and played for a while. She was all smiles. Tonight we are going on a river boat cruise and having a pizza party from Papa Johns!!!
